Physics At Work 2009 - KS3 Logo Competition Winners

The Winners - The Competition - The Prizes

Competition entries were judged by 3 members of the department on the 12th June and the results and winning logos were as follows:

The Competition

Entrants were set the challenge of designing 2 different logos to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Physics at Work :

  • One that will be made into a pin badge - called Badge Competition (3cm x 8cm or 4cm x 4cm)
  • One which will appear on our publicity material and booklet - called Booklet Competition (2.5cm x 2.5cm)

We set them the challenge of including in their the title "Physics at Work" and t\ o get across the ideas that it is:

  • The 25th Anniversary
  • About physics
  • Varied careers uses of physics in the real world.

The Prizes

The winner of the two competitions will each receive a popular book on physics and be invited along with their teacher and guardians to the Gala Evening of Physics At Work on Wednesday 16th September where they can meet the exhibitors. They will also receive a copy of our promotional material with their logo in print or as a badge.
