Physics At Work 2007 - Notice for Registered Schools
There are a number of organisational differences to this year's Physics at Work. Please take careful note to ensure that your day runs smoothly.
* It may be necessary to make a charge of £5 per head where groups fail to arrive without notice; cancel after 1st week in September or where the numbers attending fall significantly short of the number requested.
- Please check that you are listed here under the day and time that you expect with the appropriate number of students.
* As a consequence of ongoing construction work on the University West Cambridge Site:
- Coach parking has moved (see "P" on map). A one-way system will be in operation for the set-down and pick-up of schools groups. Please inform coach drivers of this issue and give each driver a copy of this map!
- Minibus parking is extremely limited on site (marked as "M" on this map). Once spaces are full, minibuses must use the same parking area as the full-size coaches.
- The pedestrian route and registration point ("R") have changed. Please look carefully at the new map and follow the pink route and signs.
* On arrival, school staff will be informed of their school groupings and asked to line up next to their allocated letters of the alphabet. E.g. Fame Academy, 3 groups of 15, Letters= A, J, X
