Physics At Work 2002
The Cavendish Laboratory was delighted to be able to host another very successful
Physics at Work exhibition this year. This is the eighteenth consecutive year that
the exhibition has taken place. The exhibition has a two-fold aim: to encourage
pupils in their study of Physics and to encourage them to contemplate a career in
Physics or a Physics-related area.
Up until this year, Physics at Work was run by Brenda Jennison, who has recently
retired as Lecturer in Physics Education in the Faculty of Education at the
University of Cambridge. This year Brenda trained our own Outreach Staff, funded
under the Aspiration Raising Programme, to organise the event.
