With the support of the University of Cambridge Active Community Fund we are offering 3, one-day workshops for teachers of physics at keystages 3 through to 5. One workshop featuring a different aspect of physics within the national curriculum will be offered each term in the academic year Oct 2008 - July 2009.

Each workshop will follow the same format but will be subject specific with

• a subject review session,
• curriculum discussion,
• lunch with current students and researchers
• practical session
• and research based lecture.

These one day teachers workshops are designed to support teachers of physics at keystages 3,4 and 5, in particular those who are non-specialists in the field.

30 free places are available to any physics teachers and whilst the days are aimed at non-specialists we appreciate the attendance input of experienced physics teachers in the discussions and hope that they may also benefit from the day
